Being a Traditional Artist sometimes SUCKS

So I had this drawing all nice and done, it was all linearted and marker colored and shaded and all finished and I was just putting the finishing touches on it when...

I drooled on it. I had the cap of a marker in my mouth, and I drooled on my drawing. Big splat of spit right in the middle. All the marker ran everywhere, and it ruined the whole drawing.

Have you ever done something like that? Spilled your coffee or dripped ketchup or dropped it in the mud? URRGH I'm so frustrated right now. *tear*

DROOLED ON MY PICTURE. Good job, me. Really. Good job.

Lots of coffee and tea stains, the occasional incense or hookah-charcoal ash steak, and general wear and tear from shoving it in my back pack or the floor of the car where I'll step on it. Or tossing it on the ground so I can use my hands to help crawl down from cliffs/rocks/boulders/trees/treehouses/roofs/etc. I've also drooled on my art, too. The two bottom teeth that grew in too far back? They don't hold the spit in my mouth. I drool if I'm not paying attention to keeping my mouth clear of spit.

I'm on TRY THREE of this picture, now. The second one I got the sketch and half of the lineart done and realized it looked stupid. Baaaaah.

Oh, I hate it when that happens. Try flipping the picture horizontally. It helps me spot flaws in anatomy. Usually mine look silly because I positioned the eyes wrong or made the nose too short.

I already know what's wrong with it, though. Drew the body too small in proportion to the head. Not worth erasing and trying to fix. XD

And it's pencil art, so I can't exactly "flip it" like with a digital piece. I could use a mirror, though. I guess.
